Zaditor Ophthalmic Eye Drops (Ketotifen) is used to treat itching of the eyes caused by allergies, pollen, animals, and other allergens. Zaditor belongs to a class of drugs known as antihistamines. It works by blocking a certain natural substance that prevents allergic symptoms such as itching, runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes.

We currently offer the brand Zaditor ophthalmic drops from Canada by Thea Pharmaceuticals. The generic Ketotifen comes from Canada by a different manufacturer.
Seek emergency medical help if you have any signs of an allergic reaction to this medication. The common side effects of Zaditor may include dryness of the eyes, eye irritation, increased sensitivity to light, mild burning, and stinging.
Contact your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur:
• Eye pain;
• Eyelid swelling, redness, drainage;
• Severe eye itching;
• Vision changes

You should not use Zaditor if you are allergic to Ketotifen or if you have:
• An untreated eye infection;
• Eye irritation caused by contact lenses
After you apply this drug, your vision may become temporarily blurred. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can perform such activities safely. Tell your doctor about all the medications you take including prescription, nonprescription, herbal products, and vitamins. There may be a drug interaction between Zaditor and other medications. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Zaditor is not approved for use by anyone younger than three years of age.
