Vevye (Cyclosporine ophthalmic solution 0.1%) is a prescription medication used to treat the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease. Dry eye disease is a common condition that occurs when your eyes don’t produce enough tears or when your tears are of poor quality. Symptoms of dry eye disease include red eyes, blurred vision, sensitivity to light, watery eyes, or a scratchy feeling like there’s something in your eye. The active ingredient in Vevye is Cyclosporine. Cyclosporine belongs to a class of drugs called immunosuppressants. It works by increasing the amount of tears the eyes make.
