Vasodilan (Isoxsuprine HCl) is a prescription medication used to treat complications associated with poor blood circulation, including arteriosclerosis obliterans, Raynaud’s disease, Buerger’s disease, and cerebrovascular insufficiency. Poor blood circulation occurs due to plaque buildup, narrowed blood vessels, and blood clots. Vasodilan decreases symptoms such as cold hands and feet, tingling, numbness, and decreased memory or judgment. The active ingredient in Vasodilan is Isoxsuprine HCl. Isoxsuprine belongs to a class of drugs called vasodilators. It works by increasing the size of the blood vessels to increase blood flow to parts of the body, including the brain, hands, and feet.
