Topsyn (Fluocinonide) is a prescription medication used to treat different kinds of skin conditions such as: eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, allergies, and rashes. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works by reducing the swelling, itching, and redness caused by these conditions.

Manufacturer Information

We currently offer the generic Topsyn cream, ointment, and gel also called Lyderm from Canada manufactured by Taro Pharma. The brand version is not available.

Seek emergency medical help if you have any signs of an allergic reaction to this medication. The common side effects of Topsyn may include burning, stinging, itching, dryness, or redness when this medication is first applied to the skin.

Contact your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur:
• Acne;
• Extreme or unwanted hair growth;
• Hair bumps;
• Skin thinning;
• Stretch marks

You should not use Topsyn if you are allergic to Fluocinonide or to other corticosteroids or if you have any other allergies. Prior to taking this medication, tell your doctors about your medical history and if you have ever had:
