Tobrex (Tobramycin) is an antibiotic eye medication used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Tobramycin belongs to a class of drugs called aminoglycoside antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This medication treats only bacterial eye infections. It will not work for other types of eye infections.

The common side effects of Tobrex may include:

You should not take Tobrex if you are allergic to Tobramycin or if you have any other allergies.
