Taltz (Ixekizumab) is a prescription medication used to treat plaque psoriasis, and certain types of arthritis such as psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and axial spondyloarthritis. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as monoclonal antibodies. It works by blocking a certain natural protein in your body that can cause inflammation and swelling.

We currently offer the brand Taltz Auto Injector and Enhanced Prefilled Syringe from Canada by Eli Lilly. The generic version is not available. This medication is available for local pickup only.

Seek emergency medical help if you have any signs of an allergic reaction to this medication. The common side effects of Taltz may include cold symptoms, ear infection, redness, irritation, and pain at the injection site.

Contact your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur:
• Cough, shortness of breath;
• Diarrhea with blood/mucus;
• Eye swelling, redness, crusting or drainage;
• Increased urination, pain or burning when you urinate;
• Muscle pain;
• Painful skin sores;
• Signs of a fungal infection;
• Sores in your mouth or throat;
• Stomach/abdominal pain;
• Sweating;
• Weight loss

Do not use Taltz if you are allergic to Ixekizumab. Prior to taking this medication, tell your doctor if you have ever had:
• An active or recent infection;
• Crohn’s disease;
• Tuberculosis;
• Ulcerative colitis

You may have tests to make sure you do not have tuberculosis or other infections. You should not share this medication with anyone even if they have the same symptoms. Do not get a live vaccine while using this medication. Tell your doctor about all the medications you take including prescription, nonprescription, herbal products, and vitamins. There may be a drug interaction between Taltz and other medications. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Taltz is not approved for use by anyone younger than six years old.
