Sotyktu (Deucravacitinib) is a prescription medication used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in adults for whom systemic therapy or phototherapy is considered appropriate. Plaque psoriasis is an autoimmune condition that causes inflamed skin patches called plaques on the body. Plaques can cause pain, itching, and bleeding. The active ingredient in Sotyktu is Deucravacitinib. Deucravacitinib belongs to a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking a protein called tyrosine kinase 2 to reduce the severity and amount of psoriasis lesions.
