Remeron Solu Tab is a prescription medication that is used to treat depression. This medication improves mood and feelings of well-being. Mirtazapine is an antidepressant. It works by restoring the balance of natural chemicals in the brain called neurotransmitters. This medication is usually once daily at bedtime or as directed by the doctor. You may see an improvement in sleep, energy and appetite within the first 1-2 weeks. You may see a change in depressed mood and lack of interest in activities in about 6-8 weeks.

The brand Remeron Solu Tab comes from Canada manufactured by Merck. The generic Mirtazapine comes from United Kingdom and Canada manufactured by different manufacturers. Remeron Solu Tabs are available in the strength of 15 mg, 30 mg and 45 mg solu tabs.

The common side effects may include constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, increased appetite and lightheadedness.

Get medical help right away if you have any serious side effects such as:

• Eye pain or swelling or redness;
• Fainting;
• Fast or irregular heartbeat;
• Severe dizziness;
• Vision changes;
• Widened pupils
