Propaderm (Beclomethasone dipropionate) is a prescription medication used to treat skin irritation and conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. This drug is also used for treating skin inflammation and itching. Skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis result from faulty genes in the immune system. However, they are not autoimmune diseases. The active ingredient in Propaderm is Beclomethasone dipropionate. Beclomethasone dipropionate belongs to a class of drugs called topical corticosteroids. It works by constricting the blood vessels to reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation.
