Cancer is a disease where abnormal cells divide uncontrollably and destroy body tissue. It can affect any part of the body, causing damage to the immune system. The active ingredient in Procytox is Cyclophosphamide. Cyclophosphamide belongs to a class of drugs called antineoplastic. It works by interfering with the genetic material DNA needed for the reproduction of cells to prevent their growth.

Get medical help immediately if you have any of these signs or an allergic reaction while using Procytox. The most common side effects of Procytox may include the following:
• Appetite loss;
• Fatigue;
• Headache;
• Nausea;
• Vomiting
Contact your doctor right away if you have any of the severe side effects, including:
• Bloody urine;
• Confusion;
• Skin inflammation;
• Tingling or numbness in arms or legs

You should not use Procytox if you are allergic to Cyclophosphamide or any ingredient in Procytox. Before you start using this medication, tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you:
• Are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed;
• Are pregnant or planning to be pregnant;
• Have an active infection;
• Have bladder inflammation;
• Have kidney problems;
• Have severe liver problems;
• Have severe low white blood cell counts
Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, OTC, herbal supplements, and vitamins. There may be drug interactions between Procytox and other medicines, like fluconazole, carbamazepine, ritonavir, rifampine, mifepristone, vaccines, etc. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Procytox may harm your unborn baby and cause congenital disabilities. You may need to have a negative pregnancy test before starting the medication. Use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy while taking this drug. Men who are taking this drug should not father a child during treatment and for at least six months after their last dose. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. Cyclophosphamide passes into breast milk and it may affect a nursing infant. Do not breastfeed while using this medicine. Use this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribes. Procytox is a tablet and intravenous injection. Swallow the tablets whole with water, and do not crush or chew. Taking this drug with food can decrease stomach upset. It is best to take Procytox first thing in the morning to reduce the risk of bladder problems. Your doctor will administer the intravenous form of the medication into a specially prepared skin site. Cyclophosphamide is excreted in urine. If your urine stays for too long, it can irritate your bladder. Drink extra fluids while using this drug to help you empty your bladder. Do not stop taking this medication without talking to your doctor. Cyclophosphamide can cause drowsiness. Avoid driving and activities that require alertness until you know how the medicine affects you. Store this drug at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
