Prestalia (Perindopril Arginine/Amlodipine Besvlate) is prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Prestalia is the first fixed dose combination of Perindopril Arginine and Amlodipine Besvlate. Perindopril is an ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme) inhibitor and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. They work in different ways to lower blood pressure. It can be used alone or together with other anti-hypertensive medications. Take Prestalia exactly as prescribed.

We currently provide brand Prestalia tablets come from Canada manufactured by Servier Pharma. It is available in three doses of: 3.5 mg/2.5 mg, 7 mg/5 mg, and 14 mg/10 mg. Generic Perindopril Arginine is not available.

The most common side effects of Prestalia include:
• Cough;
• Dizziness;
• Headache;
• Swelling of your feet, ankles, and hands.

If you suffer any serious side effects as below, please notify your doctor or pharmacist immediately:
• Allergic reactions;
• Heart failure symptoms;
• High potassium levels in blood;
• Low blood pressure;
• Kidney or liver problems.

Do not take Prestalia if you are allergic to Perindopril Arginine or Amlodipine Besvlate Ethyl. Tell your doctor all the medications you are taking including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and herbal supplements, especially: antifungals, bipolar disorder drugs, heart medications, high blood pressure, drugs, high cholesterol drugs, HIV or hepatitis C drugs, pain and osteoarthritis drugs, potassium supplements, water pills (diuretics), and drugs to prevent organ transplant rejection. Tell your doctor about all the medical conditions you have had before, especially if you have:
• Diabetes;
• Heart problems;
• High blood potassium levels;
• Kidney or liver problems;
• If you are over 65 years old.

It is not known whether Prestalia will harm an unborn baby. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
