PregVit (a combination of vitamins and minerals) contains a mix of various vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients known as prenatal/postpartum nutrients. These nutrients include Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, niacinamide, pantothenic acid, magnesium, iodine, iron, copper, zinc, folic acid, cyanocobalamin, cholecalciferol, and calcium. PregVit is particularly intended for use by women who are trying to get pregnant, are already pregnant, or have just given birth since it contains the precise proportions of different nutrients needed to support women's nutritional needs before, during, and soon after pregnancy. PregVit and PregVit Folic 5 come as two tablets in order to optimize the absorption or iron, calcium and folic acid. Please keep in mind that taking vitamin and mineral supplements does not eliminate the need for a balanced nutrition.
