Ostenil is a pre-filled syringe and should be injected directly into the joint affected by osteoarthritis. Ostenil should be administered by a medical doctor inside the hospital. It should be given once weekly for at least three weeks. You may not feel the effect of this medication immediately. However, you should notice a reduction in pain and stiffness over the following few weeks, likely to continue for several months.
