Orgovyx (Relugolix) is a prescription medication used to treat advanced prostate cancer in adult men. Advanced prostate cancer is a cancer that spreads from the prostate to other parts of the body. Symptoms of this disease depend on the size of the new growth and where the cancer has spread in the body. It may also cause problems with passing urine or bloody urine. The active ingredient in Orgovyx is Relugolix. Relugolix belongs to a class of drugs called gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor antagonists. It works by decreasing the amount of testosterone the male body produces. This may slow the spread of cancer cells that need testosterone to grow.

We currently offer the brand Orgovyx from Canada manufactured by Sunovion in the strength of 120 mg tablets. The generic Relugolix is not available.
Get medical help immediately if you have any signs or an allergic reaction while using Orgovyx. The most common side effects of Orgovyx may include the following:
• Diarrhea;
• High cholesterol;
• Muscle pain;
• Tiredness;
• Weight gain
Contact your doctor right away if you have any of the severe side effects, including:
• Chest pain or pressure;
• Difficult urination;
• Signs of an allergic reaction, such as trouble breathing, hives, swelling of the face, lips, or throat;
• Sudden weakness;
• Unusual bleeding
These are not all the side effects of Orgovyx. Always contact your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms.
You should not use Orgovyx if you are allergic to Relugolix or any ingredient in Orgovyx. Before you start using this medication, tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you:
• Are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed;
• Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant;
• Have a family history of long QT syndrome;
• Have heart problems
Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, OTC, herbal supplements, and vitamins. There may be drug interactions between Orgovyx and other medicines, like famotidine, carvedilol, Xtandi, etc. Avoid taking Orgovyx with drugs used to treat infections, asthma, depression, high blood pressure, malaria, or mental illness. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Orgovyx may harm your unborn baby and cause loss of pregnancy. This drug should not be used by women, especially during pregnancy. Although Orgovyx can cause fertility problems in men, you should still use birth control if your sex partner can get pregnant. Keep using birth control for at least two weeks after your last dose. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. It is not known if Relugolix passes into breast milk. Use this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribes. Orgovyx is a tablet. Take three tablets on your first day of treatment. After that, take one tablet per day. Use this drug at about the same time daily to help you remember. You may take Orgovyx with or without food. Swallow the tablets whole. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Do not stop taking this drug without talking to your doctor, even if you feel better. Store this drug at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed after you first open it. Keep out of the reach of children.
