Onsior (Robenacoxib) is used to treat pain and inflammation in cats and dogs. It provides postoperative pain relief to help get dogs and cats home comfortably after surgery. This medication belongs to a class of drugs called NSAIDs. This drug is often used before and after surgical procedures. Onsior inhibits the production of prostanoids by inhibiting cyclooxygenase. This medication persists longer at the inflammation site than it does in the bloodstream, which relieves pain.
