Odefsey (Emtricitabine/Rilpivirine/Tenofovir Alafenamide) is a prescription medication used to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). HIV-1 is the virus that causes AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). Odefsey is used to treat HIV-1 in people who have never taken HIV medicines before. The active ingredients in Odefsey are Emtricitabine, Rilpivirine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide. Get medical help immediately if you have any of these signs or an allergic reaction while using Odefsey. The most common side effects of Odefsey may include the following:
• Dizziness;
• Headache;
• Insomnia;
• Nausea;

Contact your doctor right away if you have any of the severe side effects, including:

Odefsey is a tablet. Swallow the tablets whole with water, and do not crush or chew. Take the drug by mouth with food. If you are taking an antacid, use the drug at least 2 hours before or 4 hours after Odefsey. If you vomit less than 4 hours after taking this drug, take another tablet with food. If you vomit more than 4 hours after using the drug, you do not need to take another tablet. Do not stop this drug without talking to your doctor. Stopping Odefsey suddenly can affect your response to future treatment. Store this drug in its original container, away from moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
