Nitro Dur Patch is in a group of drugs called nitrates. Nitro Dur Patch (Nitroglycerin Transdermal Patch) is used to prevent chest pains (angina) in people with coronary heart disease. Angina happens when there isn’t enough blood pumping through the heart muscle. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, so blood can flow more easily. The usual recommended start dose is the 0.2 mg transdermal patch.

• Very upset stomach;

• Abnormal heartbeat;
• Restlessness;
• Feeling very tired or weak;
• New or worsening chest pain;
• Very bad skin irritation
Less serious side effects of Nitroglycerin Transdermal Patch may include red or warmth when you first put on the patch, dizziness, skin irritation, headaches when you start taking the Nitro-Dur patch.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant and discuss the possible risks of using this medication. There may be an interaction between Nitro Dur Patch and other medications such as any other avanafil, riociguat, sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, dihydroergotamine, ergonovine, ergotamine, or methylergonovine, and more. If you are taking any of these medications, speak to your doctor.
