Mobiflex (Tenoxicam) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which relieves pain, swelling, redness and inflammation associated with muscle and joint disorders and other painful conditions. Mobiflex is used to relieve pain and reduce swelling in conditions that include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders including sprains and strains, sciatica, bursitis and soft-tissue injuries. Always take Tenoxicam Tablets exactly as your doctor has told you. The tablets should not be crushed or chewed, but swallowed whole with plenty of water, preferably with or after food. Mobiflex is not recommended for use in children.

Common side effects Mobiflex may include heartburn; indigestion; constipation; mouth ulceration; inflammation of the stomach lining; dizziness; headache; dry mouth. Call your doctor immediately if you notice more serious side effects such as:

• Allergic reaction;
• Bruising more easily than usual;
• Heart attack;
• Liver problems: yellowing of your skin, feeling tired, loss of appetite;
• Meningitis: fever, feeling of being sick, sensitivity to bright light, headache and confusion;
• Passing of blood in stools;
• Severe skin rashes

Do not take Mobiflex tablets if you are allergic to Tenoxicam; are more than six months pregnant; have ever had an allergic reaction to NSAIDs; have a peptic ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, or have had two or more episodes of peptic ulcers; have severe heart, kidney or liver failure. Talk to your doctor before taking Tenoxicam Tablets if you are elderly; are going to have an operation; have Lupus (SLE) or any similar condition; have problems with the blood vessels (arteries) anywhere in your body; have too much fat (lipid) in your blood; have any stomach or bowel disorders; suffer from potentially life-threatening skin rashes or suffer from or have a history of asthma. Always tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines you are taking, including herbal remedies, as well as medicines on prescription from your doctor. It is very important that you tell your doctor if you are taking antihypertensives like propranolol; diuretics like furosemide; cardiac glycosides (for example digoxin); anticoagulants like warfarin; lithium; methotrexate (used to treat certain cancers, rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis); corticosteroids; quinolone antibiotics (for infections); medicines known as SSRIs; Zidovudine; antibiotics (for infections); antacids. You should not take Tenoxicam Tablets during the last 3 months of pregnancy as it may affect the baby’s circulation.

Taking Tenoxicam Tablets may make it more difficult for you to get pregnant. You should talk to your doctor if you are planning to become pregnant or if you have problems getting pregnant. If you are breast-feeding, avoid taking this medicine. Do not drive or operate machinery if you feel tired, dizzy or drowsy, have problems with your eyesight and balance, depressed or have difficulty sleeping whilst using this medicine. Tenoxicam tablets contain lactose. You should not take these tablets without consulting your doctor first if you have intolerance to lactose or some sugars.
