Minims Phenylephrine (Phenylephrine Hydrochloride) is used to dilate the pupils before eye examinations or before and after eye surgery. It may also be used to treat certain eye conditions such as Uveitis or posterior synechiae. Phenylephrine Hydrochloride belongs to a class of drugs known as decongestants. It works by narrowing blood vessels.

We currently offer the brand Minims Phenylephrine 2.5%/0.5 ml (OTC) and Minims Phenylephrine 10%/0.5 ml (RX) from Canada by Bausch & Lomb. The generic version is not available.
Seek emergency medical help if you have any signs of an allergic reaction to this medication. The common side effects of Minims Phenylephrine may include burning, stinging, sensitivity to light, headache, and blurred vision.
Contact your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur:
• Irregular heartbeat;
• Eye pain

There may be a drug interaction between Minims Phenylephrine and other medications. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
