Inderal (Propranolol) is a used to treat tremors, chest pain, high blood pressure, heart rhythm disorders and other heart conditions. It is also used after a heart attack to improve the chances of survival and to prevent migraine headaches. It may also be used to treat anxiety, aggressive behavior after brain injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder and a variety of phobias such as fear of heights and animal phobias. Propranolol belongs to the class of drugs called beta blockers. This medication works by blocking the action of stress hormones like epinephrine and norepinephrine that affect the heart and blood vessels which reduces heart rate, blood pressure and strain on the heart. Inderal is usually taken two or four times daily or as directed by your doctor.

Canadian Pharmacy King currently offers the generic Propranolol from India and Canada manufactured by different manufacturers. The brand Inderal is not available at this time. Propranolol is available in the strength of 10 mg, 40 mg and 80 mg tablets.
The common side effects of Inderal may include dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea or vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, trouble sleeping and unusual dreams.
Talk to your doctor if you have any of the serious side effects such as:

• Fainting;
• Increased thirst or urination;

• New or worsening symptoms of heart failure;

Inform your doctor if you have any symptoms of high blood sugar. This medication may make you dizzy. Alcohol and marijuana can make you dizzier. You should not drive, use machinery or do any activity that requires you to be alert. Limit alcoholic beverages. This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless it is clearly needed. This medication passes into breast milk.
