Glyxambi (empagliflozin & linagliptin) is a prescription medication used together with proper diet and exercise to treat diabetes mellitus type II. Glyxambi tablets contain two oral diabetic medications of empagliflozin (Jardiance) & linagliptin (Tradjenta) that work in different ways to reduce the blood sugar control. Glyxambi is also used to lower the risk of death from heart attack, heart failure, and stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes who also have heart disease.
