Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine) is a muscle relaxant that is combines with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain, injury or spasms. This medication works by blocking nerve impulses or pain sensations that are sent to your brain which helps to relax the muscles. Flexeril is usually taken once daily for only 2 to 3 weeks.

The common side effects of Flexeril may include constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, nausea, tiredness and upset stomach.
