Femoston (Dydrogesterone/Estradiol Hemihydrate) is a prescription medication used to help relieve the discomfort many women feel during and after the menopause. Menopause causes unpleasant symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep problems, irritability and depression. Some women may also have problems controlling urine or have vaginal dryness. This medication also helps to prevent osteoporosis which can cause fractures. Femoston is used by women who still have a uterus.
