Enstilar Aero Foam is a combination medication that contains two medications Calcipotriol and Betamethasone. Calcipotriol belongs to the class of medications known as Vitamin D analogues and it works by controlling the growth of skin cells so they don’t build up into thick scaly patches. Betamethasone belongs to the class of medications known as Corticosteroids and works by reducing swelling, itching and inflammation. Enstilar Aero Foam is used for the treatment of psoriasis that develops on the body.

The common side effects of Enstilar Aero Foam include:
• Burning;
• Itching;
• Irritation of the skin;
• Redness
Inform your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects such as:
• Mental or mood changes
• Skin thinning or discoloration or stretch marks;
• Swelling or inflammation of the hair pores;
• Unexplained constipation;
• Worsening of psoriasis

If you have a skin infection other than psoriasis, it should be treated before you start using this medication. Enstilar Aero Foam may make you more sensitive to the sun. Limit your time in the sun. This medication may slow down a child’s growth if you used for a long time. You should check with your doctor regularly to get your child’s height checked out. Enstilar Aero Foam should only be used during pregnancy unless it is clearly needed. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breast-feeding a baby. There may be an interaction between Enstilar and other medications such as prednisone and hydrocortisone, etc.
