Celectol (Celiprolol Hydrochloride) is used for the treatment of high blood pressure and for prophylaxis of angina pectoris. Celiprolol Hydrochloride belongs to the group of medicines called beta-blockers. This medication works by slowing your heart rate and lowering your blood pressure. The initial dose is 200 mg orally taken once daily with a glass of water preferably first thing in the morning, 30 minutes before food or two hours after a meal.
