Bepreve is usually taken once a day, or as prescribed by your doctor. You should not use it if you are allergic to bepotastine or if the liquid changes colors or has particles in it. Do not use Bepreve while wearing contact lenses. Wait at least 10 minutes after distributing the eye drops before putting contact lenses in. Do not allow the tip of the dropper to touch any surface, including your eyes or fingers, as you can contaminate the medication, possibly leading to infection and vision impairment. This medication must not be used during pregnancy. It isn’t known if Bepotastine ophthalmic passes into breast milk or harms an unborn child. Therefore, check with your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or nursing. It’s not likely that other medications will have an effect on Bepreve. However, just to be sure, talk to your doctor about your medical history and any medications or vitamins you may be taking on a normal basis.
