Allegra 180 mg Tablet is a prescription anti-allergy medicine used to treat hay fever, conjunctivitis, eczema, hives, reactions to insect bites and stings, and some food allergies. These symptoms may include runny nose, congestion or stuffiness, sneezing, itching, swelling, and watery eyes. It also helps treat skin allergies with itching, redness, or swelling. Allegra belongs to a class of drugs known as antihistamines. It works by reducing the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body.

We currently offer the brand Allegra 180 from India manufactured by Sanofi Aventis. The generic version is not available.
Seek emergency medical help if you have any signs of an allergic reaction to Allegra. Stop taking Allegra and call your doctor right away if you have any flu-like symptoms such as body aches, chills, cough, and fever.
The less serious side effects may include:
• Drowsiness, feeling tired;
• Diarrhea, upset stomach;
• Headache;
• Menstrual cramps;
• Muscle or back pain;
• Nausea

Tell your doctor if you are allergic to Fexofenadine, or any other medications prior to taking this drug. Also inform your doctor of your medical history, especially of kidney disease. Tell your doctor about all the medications you take including prescription, nonprescription, herbal products, and vitamins. There may be a drug interaction between Fexofenadine and other medications. Do not take Allegra with fruit juice as it can make it harder for your body to absorb Fexofenadine. Do not take any other cold or allergy medications unless advised by your doctor. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant and before breastfeeding.
