Lactobacillus acidophilus is good bacteria found in the human gut, mouth, and vagina. It is also present in certain foods. This drug can help break down food, absorb nutrients and fight off harmful organisms that may cause diseases.

Take Acidophilus precisely as prescribed by your doctor. Take this drug by mouth with or without food. You can take Acidophilus with liquid like water, milk, or fruit juice. Store in a sealed container, away from light, heat and moisture.
