Aceon Plus (Perindopril Erbumine/Indapamide) is a prescription medication used to lower high blood pressure. High blood pressure or hypertension occurs when the force of the blood pushing against the artery walls is consistently too high. Aceon Plus is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack and death in people with heart disease. The active ingredients in Aceon Plus are Perindopril Erbumine and Indapamide. Perindopril Erbumine belongs to the class of medications called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It works by relaxing blood vessels and helping the heart to pump blood that carries oxygen to the different parts of the body more efficiently. Indapamide belongs to the class of drugs called diuretics. It works by eliminating excess salt and water to control blood pressure.
