Aceon (Perindopril) is an RX medication used to treat high blood pressure and to prevent heart attack in people with coronary artery disease. Perindopril belongs to the class of drugs known as ACE inhibitors. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. You may help prevent strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems by lowering high blood pressure. Aceon is usually taken once or twice daily or as directed by your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are using marijuana. Too much sweating, diarrhea or vomiting may cause dehydration and increase your risk of lightheadedness. Aceon is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It may harm an unborn baby. It is unknown if Perindopril passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breast-feeding.
