Doctors and nutritionists have been trying to fight obesity and diabetes for a very long time, and already made it clear that the right diet is a key to victory. But the question is - what diet is the right one?
The mainstream scientists and dieticians all recommend the traditional balanced diet to patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes. At the same time some practicing doctors claim that stop counting calories and eat high-fat foods – including saturated fats – and avoid carbohydrates, namely sugar and starch helps their patients to get their blood sugar back under control and also keeps them slimming down.
It still requires more research and trials, before it can be accepted by medical “officials’’, but it definitely should be taken for consideration.
