Triumeq (Abacavir/Dolutegravir/Lamivudine) is prescription medication used to treat human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection. It is a combination product that containing three anti-HIV drugs: abacavir (Ziagen, which is a nucleoside analogues or nukes), dolutegravir (Tivicay, which is an integrase inhibitors), lamivudine (Epivir, which is a nuke). These three HIV drugs work together by decreasing the amount of HIV virus to help strengthen the immune system. This medicine is NOT a cure for HIV or AIDS. Take Triumeq exactly prescribed.
