Toviaz (Fesoterodine) is used for the treatment of overactive bladder with symptoms of urinary frequency, urgency and incontinence. This medication belongs to the class of drugs known as antispasmodics. Fesoterodine works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder which improves your ability to control urination.

• Fast of uneven heart rate, chest pain;
• Fever;
• Lower back pain;
• Severe stomach/abdominal pain;
• Trouble urinating
Less serious side effects include
• Blurred vision;
• Constipation;
• Dizziness and drowsiness;
• Dry mouth and dry eyes;
• Dry throat, cough
You should not take Toviaz if you are allergic to Fesoterodine or Tolterodine (Detrol) or if you have certain stomach problems, glaucoma or cannot empty your bladder. Before you start taking this medication, talk to your doctor about all the prescription, OTC and herbal medications you are taking as well as any medical conditions that you have. This medication may make you dizzy or drowsy or cause blurred vision. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires you to be alert. Limit alcoholic beverages. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
