Stiolto Respimat (Tiotropium Bromide and Olodaterol) is a new inhalation spray used for the maintenance treatment of CPOD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) including chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema. This inhaler contains two medications: tiotropium bromide and olodaterol (under brand name: Striverdi Respimat). Both drugs belong to the class of drugs known as bronchodilators. They work by relaxing muscles and opening air passages in the lung to improve the breathing. Stiolto Respimat should not be used to relieve sudden symptoms of COPD. If sudden breathing problems happen, use the fast-relief inhaler as prescribed.
