Rythmodan (Disopyramide) is a prescription medication used to treat and prevent ventricular irregular heartbeat that doesn’t stop. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as antiarrhythmics. It works by helping normalize abnormal heart rhythms and to slow an overactive heart. This allows the heart to work more efficiently. By treating an irregular heartbeat, you can decrease the risk of blood clots, which can reduce your risk of a heart attack or stroke.
