Robax Platinum (Ibuprofen & Methocarbamol) is a prescription medication used to relieve pain associated with muscle spasms. Muscle spasms can result from tense neck muscles, back pain, strains, and sprains. The active ingredients in Robax Platinum are Ibuprofen and Methocarbamol. Ibuprofen belongs to a class of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing pain and inflammation. Methocarbamol belongs to a class of drugs called muscle relaxants. It works by reducing muscle spasms.

Get medical help immediately if you have any of these signs or an allergic reaction while using Robax Platinum. The most common side effects of Robax Platinum may include the following:
• Bloating;
• Diarrhea;
• Indigestion;
• Nausea;
• Tiredness
Contact your doctor right away if you have any of the severe side effects, including:
• Blurred vision;
• Confusion;
• Fluid retention;
• Hearing problems

You should not use Robax Platinum if you are allergic to Ibuprofen, Methocarbamol, or any ingredient in Robax Platinum. Before you start using this medication, tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you:

• Have asthma;
• Have blood clotting disorder;
• Have high potassium levels;
• Have kidney problems;

Tell your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, OTC, herbal supplements, and vitamins. There may be drug interactions between Robax Platinum and other medicines, like acetaminophen, digoxin, warfarin, insulin, methotrexate, lithium, thyroxine, etc. Avoid phenytoin, cyclosporine, or probenecid with Robax Platinum. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Robax Platinum may harm your unborn baby. Taking this drug when pregnant, especially in your third trimester, can cause birth complications and increase the risk of kidney damage in your unborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. Ibuprofen and Methocarbamol pass into breast milk, and they may affect a nursing infant. Use this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribes. Robax Platinum is a tablet. Swallow the tablets whole with water, and do not crush or chew. Take the drug by mouth with food or mild. Taking this drug with food may help reduce the risk of stomach upset. Take one or two tablets as needed every six hours. Do not use more than 6 tablets in 24 hours. If your symptoms last longer than five days, stop using the drug and consult your doctor. Avoid alcohol when using Robax Platinum. It can increase the side effects of the drug. Robax Platinum can make you dizzy. Do not drive or perform activities that require alertness until you can safely do them. Store this drug at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
