Rheumatrex (Methotrexate) is prescription medication used to treat certain types of cancer. It is also used to control severe psoriasis and severe rheumatoid arthritis that has not responded to other treatments. Methotrexat is an antimetabolite or an anti-cancer chemotherapy drug. It works by slowing the growth of cancer cells and abnormal skin cells for treatment of cancer and psoriasis. It might be used to control juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and other conditions as determined by your doctor. Take Rheumatrex exactly prescribed.

We currently have the generic Methotrexate comes from Canada and India. Methotrexate is also known as Oncotrex manufactured by Sun Pharma. It is available in 2.5 mg oral tablet form. Brand Rheumatrex is not available now.

The most common side effects of Rheumatrex include:
