Proventil HFA (Salbutamol, Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Aerosol) is prescription medication used to treat or prevent bronchospasm in people with reversible obstructive airway disease and exercise-induced bronchospasm. Albuterol Sulfate is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing muscles in the airways and increases air flow to the lungs. Proventil should NOT be used in children less than 4 years old.
