One Touch Ultra Blood Glucose is an over-the-counter device used to test blood glucose. Testing your blood glucose can help determine if your blood sugar levels are within a healthy range. This test is often used to diagnose and monitor diabetes. Your doctor may recommend testing your blood glucose if you have symptoms of high or low glucose levels. One Touch Ultra Blood Glucose uses an electrochemical biosensor technology based on glucose oxidase chemistry to detect glucose concentrations in your blood. The device can be used for self-testing.
