MediSure Vitamin D Rapid Test Kit is an over-the-counter home-use test kit used to quickly and easily check vitamin D levels. A vitamin D test measures the amount of vitamin D in your blood to determine if you have enough to support normal bodily functions. Your doctor may order a test if you have symptoms of a deficiency or have risk factors for low levels. Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency include bone pain, fatigue, sleep issues, muscle weakness, hair loss, appetite loss, and depression. MediSure vitamin D rapid test kit does not contain any active ingredients. It belongs to a class of drugs called diagnostic tools. It works by testing a blood sample and providing results within a few minutes.

MediSure Vitamin D Rapid Test Kit comes as a rapid test kit, including a test cassette, lancet, dropper, alcohol prep pad, buffer, and color chart. Please wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them completely before doing the test. Remove the cap from the lancet. Gently press the lancet against the side of your fingertip. Massage your finger to encourage blood flow. Touch the tip of the dropper to the blood drop. The blood should be drawn into the dropper by capillary action. Place the test cassette on a clean, flat surface. Gently squeeze the dropper to dispense the blood into the sample well (marked "S") on the cassette. Unscrew the cap of the buffer bottle. Add two drops of buffer to the buffer well (marked "B") on the cassette. Wait for 10 minutes. Compare the color intensity of the test line (T) to the color chart provided in the kit to determine your vitamin D level. You can then interpret the results. The result is deficient if the test line (T) is equal to or darker than the 10 ng/mL line on the color chart. The vitamin D level is insufficient if the test line (T) is darker than the 30 ng/mL line on the color chart but lighter than the 10 ng/mL line. The vitamin D level is sufficient if the test line (T) is darker than the 100 ng/mL line on the color chart but lighter than the 30 ng/mL line. After the test, Dispose of the used test cassette and lancet in a sharps container according to local regulations. Rewash your hands with soap and water. Discuss the test results with your doctor and to know the necessary follow-up actions. Store this test kit at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
