Maxidol Liqgel (Naproxen Sodium) is an over-the-counter medication used to treat fever and pain resulting from inflammation. The drug also treats pain from arthritis, strains, sprains, muscle aches, headaches, migraines, and menstrual cramps. Maxidol Liqgel may also treat pain from common colds, dental extractions, toothache, and minor surgery. The active ingredient in Maxidol Liqgel is Naproxen Sodium. Naproxen Sodium belongs to a class of medications called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works at the site of pain by stopping the production of prostaglandins, which cause inflammation.

• Diarrhea;
• Drowsiness;
• Heartburn;
• Nausea;
• Vomiting
Contact your doctor right away if you have any of the severe side effects, including:
• Blurred vision;
• Signs of an allergic reaction, such as trouble breathing, hives, swelling of the face, lips, or throat

There may be drug interactions between Maxidol Liqgel and other medicines, like aliskiren, cyclosporine, digoxin, glucosamine, metformin, vancomycin, etc. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Maxidol Liqgel will harm an unborn baby. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. Naproxen Sodium passes into breast milk, and it may harm your nursing infant. Use this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribes. Maxidol Liqgel comes as a liquid-filled capsule. Take this drug with a full glass of water. Take one capsule with a glass of water every eight to 12 hours. Do not take more than two capsules in 24 hours. You may take Naproxen Sodium with or without food. This drug is for short-term use only. If your symptoms persist after five days, inform your doctor. Naproxen Sodium can make you drowsy and dizzy. Avoid driving or activities that require alertness until you know how the medicine affects you. Do not drink alcohol. Alcohol can increase the side effects of the drug. Store this drug at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
