Dicetel (Pinaverium Bromide) is a prescription medication used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It helps relieve the symptoms of abdominal pain, bowel disturbances, and intestinal discomfort. Pinaverium belongs to the class of medications called gastrointestinal calcium antagonists. It works by relaxing the muscles in the walls of the gut (intestine).

Canadian Pharmacy King currently offers the brand Dicetel from Canada and Turkey manufactured by Abbott. There is no generic available for this medication. Dicetel is available in the strength of 50 mg and 100 mg tablets.
Dicetel is well-tolerated by most people. The rare and mild effects may include:
• Constipation or diarrhea;
• Dizziness;
• Dry mouth;
• Headache;
• Heartburn;
• Nausea;
• Skin rash;
• Stomach pain or fullness

You should not take Dicetel if you are allergic to Pinaverium or if you have any other allergies. Pinaverium tablets contain lactose. The contact of Pinaverium with the lining of throat may cause irritation. It is strongly recommended that the tablet be taken with a glass of water during a meal. It is unknown if Dicetel has an effect on pregnancy. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant. Do not breast-feed while taking this medication. If you are breast-feeding and taking this medication, it may affect your baby.
