Beclovent/Vanceril Inhaler(Beclomethasone) is a prescription medication used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children at least 4 years old. An asthma attack is the sudden worsening of asthma symptoms caused by the tightening of muscles around the airways. During an asthma attack, the lining of the airways becomes swollen or inflamed, and thicker mucus, more than usual, is produced. The active ingredient in Beclovent/vanceril is Beclomethasone. Beclomethasone belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids. It works by reducing the swelling of the airways in the lungs to make breathing easier. This drug must be used regularly to prevent breathing problems. Beclovent/Vanceril inhaler will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun.

• Cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat;

• Signs of an infection, including fever, chills, body aches;
• White patches or sores inside your mouth or on your lips;

• Have cataracts, glaucoma, or increased pressure inside your eyes;

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It is unknown if Beclomethasone inhaler will harm an unborn baby. Discuss the benefits and risks of using Beclovent/Vanceril in pregnancy with your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. It is unknown if Beclomethasone passes into breast milk or if it may affect a nursing infant. Use Beclovent/Vanceril Inhaler precisely as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine comes as an aerosol to inhale by mouth using an inhaler. Beclomethasone helps to prevent asthma attacks but will not stop an asthma attack that has already started. Keep track of the number of inhalations used and discard the canister after using the labeled number of inhalations on the package. Do not stop using this drug without talking to your doctor. If Beclomethasone gets in your eyes, rinse with water. Avoid being near people who are sick or have infections. Using steroid infections may make illnesses like chickenpox or measles worse. Store this drug at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep the cover on the inhaler when not in use. Avoid keeping the Inhaler near an open flame or high heat.
