Azopt (Brinzolamide) is used to treat high pressure inside the eye due to open angle glaucoma and other eye diseases. Azopt drops belong to a class of drugs known as carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. This medication works by decreasing the production of fluid inside the eye, which lowers the pressure within the eye.
Azopt eye drops is prescribed by Veterinarians to treat glaucoma in dogs. You may use a dropper tip to administer the medication easily.

The common side effects may include bitter or unusual taste in your mouth, dry eyes, eye discharge, headache, redness of the eye, temporary blurred vision. The serious side effects may include:
• Chest pain;
• Dark urine;
• Easy bruising or bleeding;
• Eye or eyelid swelling or pain;
• Persistent nausea or vomiting;
• Yellowing eyes/skin;
• Unusual tiredness
You should not use Azopt Drops if you are allergic to Brinzolamide or if you have other allergies. Before you start taking the medication, talk to your doctor about your medical conditions and about all the medications you are taking including OTC and herbal medications. Your vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying this drug. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you can perform such activities safely. This medication should not be used unless it is clearly needed during pregnancy. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk.
