Adcirca (Tadalafil) is an oral medication used for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, a high blood pressure in the lungs). Tadalafil belongs to the medication called PDE5 inhibitor which works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels in your lungs that improve the ability to exercise. Adcirca is also used to treat erectile dysfunction for the patients who are difficult to have an erection. It may also treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate or BPH).

We currently have the brand Adcirca manufactured by Eli Lilly and generic Tadalafil manufactured by Apotex comes from Canada. Adcirca is available only in 20 mg pill form.
The most common side effects of Adcirca are congested nose, headache, flushing face, back or muscle pain, nausea, sore throat, and upset stomach. If you suffer any serious side effects as below, please notify your doctor or pharmacist immediately:
• Difficult breathing;
• Irregular heartbeat;
• Painful or prolonged erection;
• Seizures;
• Sudden loss of hearing;
• Vison changes;

Do not take Adcirca if you are allergic to Tadalafil or any other ingredients in this medication. Do not take Adcirca if you are taking Cialis (erectile dysfunction) or Adempas (blood pressure) medications.
Tell your doctor about all the medical conditions you have had before, especially:
• Angina or chest pain;
• Bleeding disorder;
• Blood cell disorder;
• Congestive heart failure or a stroke;
• Heart disease;
• Liver or kidney disease;
• Peyronie's disease;
• Retinitis pigmentosa;
• Stomach ulcer;
• If you are taking nitrate drugs, antibiotics or antifungal meds, antiviral meds, blood pressure meds, prostate disorder and seizure medications, other impotence medications.
Adcirca may cause dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness until you are sure you can perform such activity safely. During pregnancy, Adcirca should be used only when clearly needed. Consult with your doctor when you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
